Eco Friendly Ethos
Per Climate Collaborative, on average, packaging accounts for about 5% of the energy used in the life cycle of a food product making it a significant source of greenhouse gas emissions. And for some products, the packaging used has an even bigger impact on climate change than the fuel used to ship it to market. As a proud mother to a toddler boy, and soon to be a mom to a baby girl, my vision is to create a world where my products will have the least adverse impact on the air pollution; a world that my kids will be proud to call home. As such, we try to minimize the use of extra unnecessary packaging. The boxes that our products arrive in are made of 100% eco-friendly materials, can be easily recycled, and are produced locally which also helps to minimize the green gas emissions since we don’t have to ship them from across the globe to our farm.
The bottles our products come in are made of glass, and the top of the glass pipette is made of the biodegradable plastic, which takes about three to six months to decompose, far quicker than traditional plastic that can take hundreds of years.
